About Dr. Casey
Terry Casey, Ph.D., Licensed Psychologist, HSP (TN #1975)
Dr. Casey’s current professional activities focus primarily on conducting continuing education (CE) programs on ethical, legal, and practice issues and providing consultation services for counseling and mental health professionals and related organizations. One of the centerpieces of his professional experience includes 19 years as the Clinical Director of a large multi-office counseling and psychological services non-profit organization serving Middle Tennessee. Additionally, he is in his 18th year of teaching Ethical, Legal, and Professional Issues in Counseling at Lipscomb University's CACREP-accredited master’s program in Clinical Mental Health Counseling in Nashville, TN. Dr. Casey also served several years as the Ethics Chair for the Tennessee Licensed Professional Counselors Association.

Combined course evaluation and CE quiz (or a link & password for online access)
CE quiz & certificate
Depending upon the program, the combined course evaluation/CE quiz will be provided either online or will be provided along with the emailed program materials.
Online access. When you have finished watching the recorded webinar, go to the provided link and use the password provided to complete the combined course evaluation/CE quiz. If you achieve a passing score on the CE quiz items (typically 14/20) you will be able to download or print your certificate immediately. Watch for the prompt at the end of the quiz. The quiz may be retaken if needed. Important! The CE certificate will display the date that the completed course evaluation form/quiz was completed online.
Emailed. For some programs, the course evaluation form/CE quiz will be emailed to you along with other program materials. Complete the form and Rencounselingtn@gmail.com. Assuming a passing quiz score of at least 14/20, the CE certificate will be sent via return email. The quiz may be retaken if needed. Important! The CE certificate will display the date that the completed evaluation form/quiz was received via email.
Unless otherwise indicated, all programs provide 3.0 CE hours. NBCC-approved programs are indicated as such in the descriptions; either ACEP #7457 (RCPS) or ACEP #4585 (Lipscomb University). For all other programs, CE credits are provided through Lipscomb University’s CACREP-accredited M.S. program in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, which is a pre-approved provider of continuing education for the following Tennessee license types: LCSW, LMFT, LPC & LPC/MHSP, Licensed Psychologist & LPE/LSPE, LCPT & LDAC).
Continuing education rules of the various licensing boards can change without notice. Always check with your state licensing board regarding current CE requirements.

Consulting Services
If you are interested in a consultation the first step is to email me at Rencounselingtn@gmail.com so we can discuss your needs briefly and set up a time for a consultation by Zoom or phone. During consultations, I will listen to your description of your situation and give you my perspective. I will provide whatever answers, resources, or guidance that fall within my scope of practice as a licensed psychologist, HSP in Tennessee and my professional competencies.
Fee: $180/hour with a minimum of 30 minutes ($90)
Payment: Through VENMO (@RCPS-Casey). If you cannot pay through Venmo please email me and we can discuss possible alternatives.
